Zoom event co-presented by East Bay Housing Organizations, Call Marin Home, Housing Santa Cruz County, Generation Housing, Housing Leadership Council of San Mateo County, SV@Home, and All Home. The zoom will cover the facts about Prop 1 and Prop 43, and answer any questions you have about these ballot measures or others. Register here.
October 5 – 6:30 pm. Author talk: Laura Stivers – A Home For All
Held at Mill Valley Public Library, Creekside Room, with coalition members, Laura Stivers (Professor of Social Ethics at Dominican University) and Maya Friedman (Community Organizer – MOC). Laura will be discussing her book with Maya. In A Home for All, Laura Stivers helps readers imagine a world where housing is accessible, affordable, and life-giving. Her book equips readers for generative action toward ecological, equitable, and democratic forms of economic life that promote housing justice. Register here.
October 6 – 7:00 pm. MOC Civic Academy
Held at First Presbyterian Church of San Rafael (1510 Fifth Ave). The agenda will include reviewing Prop 1 and Prop 43, followed by a workshop on where and how to find information to make an informed decision and vote to your values. Register here
